Luke Barnes Chef

With over 25 years’ experience at the forefront of the hospitality industry, Luke has worked as a successful executive and head chef in a range of top culinary businesses, including restaurants, contract catering, gastropubs, hotels, private dining and outside activations, both in the UK and abroad. Trained by celebrity chef Gary Rhodes, Luke learnt his trade at Up & Down, before becoming Head Chef at Players in Hale. He then went to owning his own neighbourhood restaurant, Chorlton Green Brasserie.

Now championing all things Choza, he can really expand on his passions and discovery from travelling the world with business partner Brent, combing different cultures, techniques and colours into the ever-changing menus they offer. Luke describes cooking as his ‘therapy’; he says he loves nothing more than zoning out in his kitchen, listening to Ibiza classics with a glass of red, cooking for friends and family, ready to enjoy a meal together.
